Eric Verschuren

Eric Verschuren graduated from the Wageningen University in 2016, obtaining his MSc degree in Medical Biotechnology. He performed his BSc thesis at the Department of Human Genetics (LUMC), where he investigated cyst formation in PKD mouse models. He performed his MSc thesis at the Department of Tumor Immunology (Radboudumc), exploring the possibility to design a novel tool to track and study antigen presentation by dendritic cells in mice. For his last internship he joined the Department of Physiology investigating the role of K+ in TRPM6-mediated Mg2+ transport. Currently, he is working as a PhD student studying renal electrolyte reabsorption regulated by primary cilia.
